Reviewed in India on 10 May 2018 Verified Purchase Please do not buy this worthless product. Either the one I received was a fake from a fake seller or the product is originally a sham. To begin with it does not cover even 20 meters of distance. The batteries are either low quality or not working because I need to keep the camera as well the hand piece on charging every day for a minimum of 20 hours only to use it for 20 minutes after which it dies. Also the features are exaggerated and it does not deliver the picture quality it promises to. if by mistake you bring the monitor a lill closer to the proximity of the camera your baby and you might become deaf with the ringing sound it will make. If the monitor is on charging and the electricity goes, the monitor switches on automatically when the electricity comes back and makes ringing sound at loud even if the original setting is on mute. Is it really a product of this century??? I think our ancestors used better baby monitors :-( Oh! i forgot the worst part: we wrote to motorola like responsible buyers a week ago but guess what? NO REPLY!!! Reviewed in India on 3 October 2017 Verified Purchase Just ignore all the reviews posted Negative... Take it from a parent of two kids... This is an awesome device.. O.k the battery is not that great.. so what, u can plug it keep it in some place (given long cable), don't expect it to work as mobile phone. I get battery life when unplugged for about 60 to 90 mins and that is fine for us.. Reviewed in India on 25 May 2016 Verified Purchase I bought this baby monitor because of its temperature monitoring, 2 way communications and camera movement. I have been using this to monitor my baby for couple of months now and it has been working beautifully wonderfully. The additions camera rotation also helps to monitor the room, in case you have an help for your child ;) Reviewed in India on 24 April 2017 Verified Purchase Working gud for now. Very helpfull. Expensive though. Reviewed in India on 21 October 2017 Verified Purchase Mus muals buy this baby monitor .. value for money .. excellent clarity Reviewed in India on 26 November 2015 Verified Purchase A very useful and dependable item for baby monitoring Reviewed in India on 27 June 2017 Verified Purchase After less than 2 months the battery isn't charging anymore Reviewed in India on 27 December 2016 Verified Purchase Worked well for 5 months although ease isn't the same as Samsung. Top reviews from India
We have no problems with it.. Range is awesome, we live in Duplex house, I get to check on my kids from my neighbour house also.. If you can pay the amount for this.. then go for it...
Can find cheaper alternatives. I went for the brand name..but i prefer to try other less expensive brands too..Those r better value for money.
The sixth month, the monitor screen was not getting charged.
Customer center in Gurgaon only. They say connector inside the screen is broken and I may need to pay.
Short life and the warranty does not help. Disappointed! Top reviews from other countries
1.0 out of 5 stars then - just like the first

This is my FOURTH monitor from Motorola and will most definitely be my last. In 2014 I got an MBP41 when my first child was born. It worked well for about 1 1/2 years, even after dropping the parent unit on many occasions. In fact, it still works but it became finicky to charge the parent unit (the cord had to be positioned just right).
We got a dual camera in 2016 - the Motorola® MBP25-2 Digital Video Baby Monitor because were expecting another baby. That unit worked well (as well after dropping the parent unit multiple times) for the past year, then - just like the first, it became finicky to charge the parent unit (the cord had to be positioned just right) and then it just suddenly started to not have signal or sound periodically.
SO we decided to get new units because the baby would soon be giving up the crib...
At first I hated it right out of the box... the units were most difficult to navigate through the menus and cameras took 3x to pare (took about 2 hours to set up) THEN I noticed the LAG!? In BOTH cameras there is a significant lag between the video and sound. It's as if the picture is stop motion!!! I'd expect that in a wi-fi monitor but NOT this type.
ALSO, it was nearly impossible to move the cameras using the controls on the parent monitor: I'd press either up down right or left and it did nothing... then all of a sudden it would spin really fast in one direction and way too far and you'd be looking at the wall or ceiling.
These are ALL safety matters! Why am I buying a camera in the first place?? This will be my very last purchase from Motorola ever. Sadly I had believed in their products but they have just gone to sh1t over the past few years with this being the icing on the proverbial cake.
2.0 out of 5 stars Dont buy the "updated" 2018+ unit. Its different

I own a pair of these monitors for my 2 kids. I purchased the first one in 2017, and it works like a charm and still going. Replaced the battery once after a year of use every night. Being happy with it, I decided to buy a second unit for my next baby. Unfortunately even though the model number and the look of the unit is identical, its not the same! they completely ruined it in the following ways: 2017 version charged by standard mini usb plug, very convenient. 2018 uses a round dc jack, annoying "downgrade". 2017 version software connects to camera fast, long range, solid connection. 2018 has different software, the connection is failing after 8 months of use, range was poor since new, camera takes longer to connect. 2018 cameras and units are not compatible with 2017 cameras and units, so dont bother trying to pair additional cameras, even though the model number is identical. Clearly Motorola has switch their chinese supplier to a different one, and its a bad decision. Dont trust old reviews.
1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage quality

The media could not be loaded. Don't buy this JUNK. We purchased it in April, my son was born on the 26th and today is December 19th and the thing is dead. It's been having weird issues for the last 2 months but a reset made it work okay. Now the video is totally dead. Sound still comes through but as you can see from the photo/video the screen is just a mess. Even with the units inches away the video won't play, just distortion on the screen. Please don't waste your money on this. In 2019 there was an update (we have one we bought in 2016 that is still working, same model number but has a USB charger and much much much better picture quality, so we bought a second one thinking it would be as good. The new **updated** one is just garbage from the start) the video quality in this is pretty bad, we could barely tell if my son had his eyes open or close, get the old one was crystal clear.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed. Terrible night vision, stopped working after a few weeks

Update: the parent unit is dead after a few weeks of use. Disappointing product. Won't turn on. Returning it. Overall I'm disappointed in this monitor. We bought it because the one we have is constantly losing connection. But I'm debating returning this one and keeping the one with spotty connection. Pros: The Motorola is nice because the range works well in our house compared to the other one, and you can move the camera remotely. I love the spider looking holder thing. Makes it so much easier to position. The volume is good. It's pretty user friendly. Buttons are easy to navigate. Cons: the night vision is so blurry and the video quality is terrible. There's a lot of lag when the kid is moving. I can barely see what she's doing, which defeats the purpose of the camera lol.
It didn't make noise initially but now it makes a bit of noise when you reposition the camera remotely. This freaks out my toddler and she gets scared to go to sleep.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor

This is the second monitor we bought. The first one the charging port stopped working. But I think that was a combination of us lazily unplugging it and our toddler sucking on the cord every time we turned around... When our first one died we actually purchased another brand but quickly returned it because the quality didn't come close to this one. The picture and sound quality are great. As well as there is lots of menu options for music, switching between cameras, changing temperature and volume. We were also able to very easily pair our original camera to it and use it as a second camera in a different room. Overall a great monitor as long as you take care of the charging port.
